A quiet site leaves no trail

ThriftSparrow collects no personal information through this website. We use no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, cookies, forms, comments, accounts or email capture. The pages are static. Our hosting provider may keep limited technical server logs for security and operation, outside our direct control.

What this site does not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, financial information, location or advertising identifiers. There are no user accounts, newsletter forms, quizzes, embedded social-media widgets or behavioral analytics. We do not build visitor profiles, sell data or share audiences with advertisers.

Cookies and local storage

ThriftSparrow does not set cookies or use browser local storage. The site contains no consent banner because there are no optional tracking technologies to accept or reject. If this changes, we will update this page before introducing the technology and explain its purpose directly.

Server logs

Like most website infrastructure, the hosting service may process basic request information such as an IP address, timestamp, requested path and browser user agent to deliver pages, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. We do not receive an analytics dashboard built from those logs or use them for advertising. Retention and security are controlled by the host.

External services and links

Our pages load no external fonts, image libraries, video players or advertising code. Links to budgeting apps and other sites are ordinary links, not affiliate redirects. Once you follow an external link, that site’s own privacy terms apply. Review them before entering information or connecting a bank account.

Changes to this policy

If the publication adds a contact form, newsletter or any measurement tool, this policy will name the data, purpose, provider and retention period. The effective date above will change. We will not quietly turn old reading activity into a marketing profile.

Questions

There is deliberately no contact form because forms collect information. Our about page explains who edits the publication and how app tests work. For practical advice on evaluating an app’s own permissions, use our budgeting app field guide.
